COURSE DESCRIPTION

Course Objective To understand the place and importance on the common history of mankind of the Ottoman civilization by learning political, social, economic and cultural developments in and out of the Ottoman Empire until the beginning of the 20th Century from Kuchuk Kainarji. To teach Political, Social, Economic and Cultural Developments in and out of Ottoman Empire From Küçük Kaynarca to the collapse of the Ottoman Empire (1922).
Course Content The period from the Treaty of Küçük Kaynarca (1774) to the collapse of the Ottoman Empire (1922); the political developments that took place in the Ottoman Empire during this period; state organization and local government units; community life and social institutions; cultural developments and important personalities; Relation of ottoman with other surrounding states and communities.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.
