Course Objective To introduce the general structure of philosophy, its basic sub-disciplines and the relationship between philosophy and social studies.
Course Content Definition of philosophy, characteristics of philosophical thought, definition of knowledge, importance of knowledge, types of knowledge, possibility of knowledge, accuracy of knowledge, source of knowledge, definition of science, types of science, views of science, existence and types, nature of existence, existence and purposefulness, definition of morality, good and evil, morality and freedom, morality and universality, basic concepts of aesthetics, theories of art, beauty, basic concepts of political philosophy, the relationship between individual and state, basic concepts of philosophy of religion, philosophy for children.
