Course Objective The aim of the course is to read and make sense of the current map, to gain the ability to prepare a basic map, to draw maps in accordance with the purpose, and to use the map effectively in education.
Course Content Definition of the map, its features and historical development, scales, map types and usage areas, map making techniques, map activities and applications, supporting the teaching of spatial perception skills with map usage applications, Introduction to Geography Information Systems and Remote Sensing constitute the content of the course.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Recognize the types of maps (physical, political, etc.).
2Makes conclusions about geographical features by interpreting colors and symbols.
3Mathematics makes positioning. Knows the effects of latitude and longitude
4Recognizes continents and oceans.
5Knows how to plan Social Studies lesson by using maps.
