Course Objective The history of the Turkish states established before Islam, the political, social, economic and cultural life of the Turkish nation
Course Content The place of pre-Islamic Turkish states in Turkish history, state, administration, army, religion, social and economic life, language, literature, science and art in pre-Islamic Turks.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Make use of the sources of Pre-Islamic Turkish History
2To be able to comprehend that the pre-Islamic Turkish History is a common past of all the Turkic peoples who continue their existence today
3To be able to explain that pre-Islamic Turkish History constitutes an important stage of Turkish history of five thousand years, taking the fact that history is totality and continuity
4To be able to recognize the common points (folkloric features, religious beliefs-rituals, family experiences, understanding of law and justice etc.) between the people who created the Pre-Islamic Turkish History and the contemporary Turkish peoples
5To be able to explain the contribution of Pre-Islamic Turkish History to the common history and heritage of mankind
6To be able to comprehend that the values and reactions of the society in which it is based are based on historical bases
7To be able to evaluate the beginning periods of the Turkish state tradition
8To be able to analyze what changes religion can cause in the lives of societies
9To be able to evaluate the differentiation in religious and non religious dimensions of culture
10To be able to use effective teaching skills in the field
11To be able to propose solutions to national and global problems
