Course Objective At Pamukkale University, the elective foreign language Japanese course for undergraduate and associate degree students will be conducted at the "A1" level in line with the criteria determined by the Japan Foundation.
Course Content This course includes topics such as greeting, introducing oneself, introducing family and friends, the use of adjectives and question words, numbers, verb conjugation to improve the basic level of communication, reading, writing and comprehension skills of students in Japanese language.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Students show self-introduction.
2Students list questions to ask information about a person.
3Students list the properties related to themselves.
4Students define the things and distinguish their places.
5Students explain the price information by using the ownership adjectives and describing the items.
6Students indicate the simple structures of pronouns, adjectives and adverbs in the language learned.
7Students distinguish verb groups in Japanese and present tense conjugations of common verbs in daily life.
8Students list daily activities in order using present tense.
9Students explain simple past tense and near future tense in Japanese.
10Students indicate the hours.
11Students can read and write 30 basic kanji (100 with variants) with Hiragana and Katakana.
