Course Objective 1- Make students gain the historical development of antropology science, it’s effects and subjects. 2- Give information to students about the relationship of antropology science between the other social science subjects and investigating techniques and methods of antropology science. 3 –Give pratical information about culture, culturel theories, culturel investigating,evolution of humankind,differentiation and configuration etc. to students.
Course Content The subject, basic concepts, history and method of anthropology; basic approaches in social-cultural anthropology; anthropological aspects of education and the basic concepts of educational anthropology: culture, acculturation, acculturation, adaptation, subculture, counter culture, common culture, etc .; cultural foundations and functions of education; intercultural differentiation, education and learning; school as a habitat, school cultures and ethnographies; media, mass media, popular culture and education; globalization, cultural interaction, cultural literacy and education; Education in oral and written literary works in the history of Turkish culture and civilization; The roles of parents and children in Turkish family structure.
