COURSE DESCRIPTION

Course Objective It is aimed to equip students with skills in preparing and implementing enriched language teaching activities in order to improve the language skills of students who have not attained the level of reading, writing, speaking, listening and visual literacy appropriate to their level of mental and physical disability.
Course Content It focuses on the preparation and implementation of enriched language teaching activities in order to improve the language skills of students who have not attained the level of reading, writing, speaking, listening and visual literacy appropriate to their level of mental and physical disability; focuses on the techniques, methods and activities related to how to teach reading and writing to children whose mother tongue is different; students from different socio-economic backgrounds came to school with different backgrounds at different levels, and therefore the students who had difficulties in acquiring and using language skills, the language (eg teacher change, how to teach students who can not acquire and use their skills adequately; approaches, methods, techniques and applications used in the teaching and teaching process of foreigners / second languages of Turkish children to immigration.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Knows the learning areas of Turkic.
2Knows first literacy teaching approaches.
3The mother tongue knows the language characteristics of the different children.
4Knowledge of enriched language teaching activities.
5Prepares enriched language teaching activities.
6Know the techniques and methods for teaching reading and writing to children whose main language is different
7The children who are different from the main language know activities about how to teach reading and writing.
8Knowing the methods used in the teaching and teaching process of foreigners / second language by Turkish immigrants
9Know the approaches that are used in the teaching and teaching process of foreigners as a foreign language / second language to children coming through migration.
10Know the techniques used in the teaching and teaching process of foreigners / second languages of Turkish children to immigration.
11Children with different mother tongues know the language problems they are experiencing.
12The mother tongue produces solutions to the problems that different children experience
