COURSE DESCRIPTION

Course Objective	The purpose of the lesson is to understand the relation between music and education, using the music in child’s education, the development of hearing on child, being listened the musics which are suitable for the development of hearing, the development of expressing himself or herself by the way of music, developing the behaviours of child which are aimed by the way of music education, supplying the active joining to the music activities of children, the studies of repertory.
Course Content	Importance of music in preschool education, relationship between music and education, musical education in 0- 8 years old and their musical abilities, using of music in preschool education programme, constructing repertoire of child songs, introducing and analyzing of child songs, criterions of planning the child songs, teaching techniques of songs in preschool, planning of educational situation as a musical education in preschool, different musical educational techniques in the world.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES

1	To learn the basic concepts of the course
2	To be able to understand the importance of preschool education and gaining the ability to establish the relationship between music and education
3	Gaining musical structures in different cultures
4	Developing music skills; gaining to train musical instruments, vocal and notes
5	To be able to gain the behavior of playing and singing activities in the child's musical development
6	To be able to get to know music lessons and activities preschool music education program content to associate with other disciplines
7	To be able to gain the developing the ability of using music in developing the child's creativity and gaining the ability of the teaching methods of song
8	To be able to create a song repertoire for the period of preschool and accompany this with the instruments
9	To be able to know Orff Instruments and gain the ability to rhythm exercises.
10	To be able to gain the ability of teaching rhythm pattern with rhymes may interest and attention of children
