COURSE DESCRIPTION
Course Level Bachelor's Degree
Course Type Compulsory
Course Objective The aim is this course is to design, development and evaluation an instructional material based on the theoretical and conception background of instructional technologies and material design.
Course Content Concepts about instructional technologies, features of various instructional technologies, implementations of teaching technologies in teaching process, defining technological needs of school and classroom, making and carrying out a proper technology plan, developing two and three dimensional materials using teaching technologies (worksheets, designing activities, overhead projector sheets, dia, visual media, computer based materials), examining educational software, evaluating various kind of teaching materials, internet and distance education, principles of visual design, researches based on the effectiveness of teaching materials, usage of teaching materials in Turkey and world. .
