Course Objective The aim of this lesson is to give knowledge about the individual and social problems and results of nutrition in the world, to emphasize the importance of nutrition and to teach balanced and adequate nutrition to children who are preschool.
Course Content Nutrition: Definition, Importance; Properties of Nutrition: Food, Nutritious food; Nutrition of Pregnant Women and Nursing Mothers; Risks of Malnutrition; Consequences of Malnutrition in Children; Nutrition Requirements of Children; Food Appropriate for 0-6 Year Old Children; Preparing Menu for Preschool Students, Hygienic rules in preparation of food.
