Course Objective This course presents a theoretical analysis of religion as a cultural phenomenon. It explores the functional relationships between religion, culture, society, and the individual.

1Follows the emergence and the traits of the myths from past to the 20th century.
2Recognizes philosophical and ideological system of the myths.
3Identifies the characteristics of the myths.
4 Analyzes the myths in terms of style, content and theme.
5Analyzes the relationship of the myths to other literary genres, crossing points and their interactions.
6 Identifies the narrative strategies of the myths.
