Course Objective The structure of the soil, clay and mud brick usage areas and the technologies used in the production of different materials, the factors affecting the deterioration according to the usage area, the determination of the applications to be carried out for the conservation of the processes with the degradation processes and degrees
Course Content The earth has been used for the construction of different purpose materials by all human communities in the world because it is a material that can be easily obtained regionally and it can be met by the need for tools such as pottery for architectural purposes and daily use.mThe aim of this course is to reveal the phases of soil use in daily life and in the use of vital areas. For this purpose, the material is taken from the historical process and samples according to the place and purpose of the material and the students will be trained in the material knowledge not only in the content dimension but also in the existing applications. Necessary information about the degradation processes and products, as well as the content of the analysis methods are presented.
