Course Objective To apprehend and discuss Islamic thinkers’ views.
Course Content It includes these: the origins of Islamic philosophy, philosophy of nature, school of Meşşai (el Kindi, Farabi, İbn-i Sina ), rationalists, Meşşai’s philosophy in Endulus (İbn Bacce, İbn Rüşd), Jewish philosophers in Islamic world (İbn Cebirol, İbn Memun).
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Learns about how the philosophical writings started in Islamic culture.
2Learns about the first period when the Islamic culture began to develop learns about the relationship that develops between the studies ; religion, philosophy and scientific fields .
3understands about the attitude of the Islamic belief system about the philosophical and scientific studies.
4Learns about thoughts of Trained scientists and thinking people of the Islamic culture, about the general philosophical problems
5Learn about Philosophers belonging to the Islamic culture, whether they have original ideas or not
