Course Objective Repulsive and attractive forces of population movements in Turkey, to understand the consequences
Course Content In the period from the late Ottoman period to the present day migration types and motifs, which for the life of migrants and their socio-economic policies and a historical overview of the demographic transformations taking place in Turkey. Beginning in the late 19th century classical migration, labor migration in the postwar period, moving westward migration from poor regions and results. The dissolution of the Ottoman Empire during the period of migration, population exchange, again in the context of Turkey and Germany, from village to city, from east to west migration. A theoretical approach to migration, models, current debates, refugees, asylum seekers, migrants, displaced people as well as various concepts and facts, the legal framework, institutions and the state of the approximations.
