COURSE DESCRIPTION

Course Objective The aim of course is teaching the importance of Seljuks of Anatolia and Great Seljuks in Art History.
Course Content The place of Great Seljukian works of art in Turkish Art will be explained. The mosques, the minarets, the madrasahs, the caravanserais of The Great Seljuks will be shown.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.

1Will be able to recognize and approve Seljuks Art.
2Will be able to attain knowledge about the literature of Seljuks Art.
3Will be able to attain knowledge about the era, period and socio-cultural life in Seljuks Period.
4Will be able to recognize the general plan schemes of mosques, ribats, madrasahs, and specialities of frontage installation, decoration of Seljuks Period.
5Will ve able to have the ability to recognize and date the buildings recording.
6Will be able to have the ability to recognize and evaluate the style on works of arts.
