Course Objective The aim of course is introducing the minor objects of Islamic cultures which were produced between 16th and 18th centuries as well as to evaluate the objects within the cultural context in which they were produced.
Course Content The minor objects produced in the middle and near eastern cultures between 16th and 18th centuries.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Will be able to recognize the minor objects of Islamic art in terms of both style and iconography,
2Will able to define distinctions of different traditions in terms of both style and iconography.
3Will be able to recognize and evaluate the minor objects of Safavid period.
4Will be able to evaluate the connection between the objects and cultural and political milieu in which they were produced.
5Will be able to gain an ability of evaluating the minor object produced in the Kajar period within the new taste of the modernization period.
6Will be able to define the relationship between 16 and 18th centuries Ottoman and Iranian art.
