Course Objective The aim of this course is defining and introducing of Handcrafts of Islamic art.
Course Content Illumination, marbleization, calligraphy, wooden and metallic objects, which are Turk-Islamic handcrafts, and technical and stylistic features of them will be explained.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Will be able to recognize handcrafts produced in Anatolia in 12th-15th centuries.
2Will be able to identify architectural elements from Anatolia dated 12th-15th centuries.
3Will be able to discuss about techniques in art and their improvement and alteration.
4Will be able to sight changes of style and iconography in art according to chronology and regional differences.
5Will be able to associate iconographical editing with Medieval thought.
6Will be able to recognize relation between form, style and iconographic editing in art, and enviromental cultures.
