Course Objective The aim of course is evaluating the basic theories and concepts of Art History, historical facts and images which is the subject of Art History in the imformation process and outlines the phases of change to examine the civilizations of Anatolia and around, through the general concepts and examples.
Course Content Iron Age civilizations of Anatolia (Uratu-Phrygian-Lydian) and Greek City Satates (polis) will be introduced. The compenents of art in Anatolia will be evaluated with with the interaction in other Mediterranean civilizations. Reflections of Greek and Roman art in Anatolia will be evaluated.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.
Mode of Delivery Face to Face

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Will be able to explain the basic concepts of civilizations in Anatolia in historic centuries.
2Will be able to analyze the geographical, political and cultural conditions and changes in the artistic development.
3Will be able to evaluate the basic characteristic of Anatolian Art, styles in the historical process, according to regions and the dominat political forces.
4Will be able to interpret the similarities, interactions and differences of cultures in Anatolia in the historical proces.
5Will be able to compare the examples of historical art styles from different regions in the historical process.
