Course Objective The aim of the course is instructed that the general terms which are used in archaeology. The objectives of the course is introduced that the terms which are used in ceramic, sculpture, numismatic and architecture of ancient.
Course Content The aim of this course is to define ‘‘Archaeology’’ and its process of development, its relations to other disciplines of science.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Learns the meaning and evolution of archaeology, its relations with other sciences.
2Has a basic knowledge about the works of scientists who worked to establish the discipline of archaeology.
3Recognize the concepts about architecture, sculpture and pottery of archaeological departments.
4Has a basic knowledge about ancient settlements.
5Has a basic knowledge about ancient buildings.
