Course Objective To inform students about the art of painting in Turkey and other countries, which is an important branch of Byzantine art and to create awareness
Course Content It is aimed to examine examples of the painting art of the Byzantine Period (icons, manuscripts, fresco and mosaic). In this context, the effect of religious, cultural and political environment on art, the contribution of environmental cultures to style changes will be examined.
