Course Objective The aims of the course are to explain city plan and the urbanization process from Early Bronze Age, to question the important centers in terms of urbanization and urban planning. The objectives of the course are to learn about the process of urbanization and urban planning and express the knowledge and experience in writing.
Course Content Firstly, the district of cities will be told in accordance with their structures and geographical characteristics.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Define the concepts of village and city and know where the urbanization started
2Know the basic elements of urbanization
3Know and investigate the town plans from the beginning of Early Bronze Age
4Know neolithic settlements and define the urbanistic features of them
5Knoe the urbanization process of Near East and of Anatolia from the beginning of Early Bronze Age
6Investigate the urbanistic features in 2nd and 1st millennium BC cities
7Express the results of the researches orally and written
