Course Objective To understand the definition and classification of rural settlements.
Course Content The definition of settlement, settlements classification, basic concepts; The settlement date of the factors leading to the emergence of the first settlement; The settlement pattern of the world and the effective factors on distribution; The definition of dwelling, forms, plans and functions of factors that impact on the world and examples from Turkey; Villages and small settlements of the village forms interact with the environment, similarities and differences, plans, physical and cultural factors on rural settlements to examine the effects.
