COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Learning the Ottoman alphabet which has been used at the least 600 years by Turks and gaining ability to read texts written in this alphabet
2Gaining ability to understand texts written in Ottoman alphabet
3Reaching the consciousness for comprehending richness and greatness of Turkish language by connecting directly to the text written in Ottoman alphabet
4Gaining ability to follow the revolution of Turkish language through the history over texts.
5Gaining ability to realize richness and changing of meaning and attribution of meaning on Turkish on words, different aspects of Turkish with concrete examples
6Improving vocabulary in according to this having self confidence in the community in every stage of life.
7Gaining ability to intensify native consciousness to see facts and effects of foreign words and languages on Turkish
8Gaining ability to do correct diction and pronunciation by learning constitutive forms of foreign words (Arabian and Persian) in Ottoman Turkish according to words formation rules
9Gaining ability to search Turkish literature and culture by reading examples in archives
10 Gaining consciousness of realizing, spreading and protecting the texts written in Ottoman Turkish in archives and libraries around the world
11Gaining accumulation of acquiring and using the data from the texts which has been formed in Ottoman Turkish in archives and libraries as a part of his profession.
