Course Objective This course successfully students completed a social institution of religion as the basis of qualifications are what, religious beliefs and practices, solutions and forms of culture and social life and the formation of individual and collective actions that affect the time, open, and given a religious phenomenon, or religious movement a certain theoretical perspective and discuss how it can be handled means.
Course Content Course consists of three parts. Religion as a sociological phenomenon of the first section, the nature of research, the second section, the relationship between religion and culture and social life of the related theoretical and factual issues will be carried out to investigate. Religious and social and economic organization of life, social solidarity and conflict in the relationship between the theoretical analysis of and empirical findings of the focus in order to be analyzed, the third section, the religious beliefs and practices of ethnic groups, social and political movements in the formation process of how they are accompanied and their contemporary social and political world of change / in terms of stability of the results revealed that a review will be given to and discussed.
