Course Objective To improve abilities and knowledge which are related to Turkish languages; to teach richness, power, many aspects of Turkish with scientific knowledge.
Course Content Characteristics that distinguish Turkish from the world languages and their superiority and advantages in way of speaking nad expression. Ways, characteristics and advantages of word formingh in Turkish. System of forming word groups and sentences in Turkish and its functıon.Turkısh language’s capability of expressing teh abstract and concrete meanings. Barrowed words their impact on the language they go into Turkısh (language’s) power of internalizing these barrowed words;simplification movements in Turkısh.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Understanding the phonological differences between Turkish and other languages.
2Understanding the subtlety of word formation methods in Turkish and superiority in word derivation,
3Comprehending the difference of Turkish syntax and comparing them with the other languages; gaining ability to make translation from foreign languages to Turkish,
4Gaining the mother language consciousness and improving self confidence by realizing the ancientness of Turkish and it’ s philosophy of giving noun to objects,
5Understanding the competitive power of Turkish among the world languages and gaining the ability to make Turkish as one of the universal languages,
6Gaining the consciousness of expressing and defending Turkish on the national or international platforms,
7Gaining ability to look at Turkish in a holistic way not only in ancient dialects but also in contemporary dialects,
8Gaining accumulation for doing comparative and contrastive studies between Turkish languages and foreign languages,
