Course Objective To understand the basic and general properties of the Middle Turkish.
Course Content Turkish in Karahanlı Period, studies on Kutadgu Bilig, Atabetü’l-Hakayık, changes in phonology and morphology, Harezm Turkish, Nehcü’l-Ferâdis, Kıpçak Turkish, studies on Gülistan Tercümesi, changes in phonology and morphology

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1 Learn Kharakhanid, Khwarezm, Kipchak, Chagatai dialects. Differences between them and sees similarities. Gain the skills to differentiate between them.
2Development in different fields who are able to due to the Turkish culture and this culture of literary writing in different languages, you can analyze the scientific method.
3During a period of mid-term to reach new information about Turkish culture and language, and hopefully gain the ability to take advantage of resources within the framework of scientific criteria. .
4Recognizes the presence of mention.Historical Turkish Dialects. The existence of these similarities and differences when comparing with today's modern Turkish dialects, the ability to reach the clutch.
5Understands the relationship between historical Turkish dialects to each other. Recognize the effects of Hindi, Chinese, Persian etc. languages on historical the Turkish dialects.
