Course Objective To give general information about tourism and development
Course Content Basic concepts of tourism geography; tourism-geography relationship; tourism development history, tourism demand and motivation. Factors influencing the development of world tourism, natural and cultural attractions and supply elements-transportation and accommodation-examination; the importance of tourism organization; the study of the major tourism places, characteristics, development and problems of the world. Economic, social-cultural and environmental effects of tourism; tourism development policies and planning; the main features of the world tourism movement and the examination of regional patterns. The development of tourism in Turkey, examining the developments and numerical increase in supply factors. Tourism organizations and tourism related organizations; Examination of Turkey's main tourism resources and space, to discuss the issue; Examination of the main features of Turkey's domestic and foreign tourism
