Course Objective The aim of this course, is to have general knowledge about the Grecian language and dialects. Objectives of this course is simple and compound sentences in writing, to be able to analyze in terms of form and meaning.
Course Content The description of Greek alphabet, the types of capital and minuscule letters, the masculine, feminine, genderless features of the words in Ancient Greek language will be told.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.

1 The origin of the Greek alphabet and the first Greek letter.
2 Ancient Greek alphabet: Large and small letters, the nouns and the reading of the letters.
3 Simple consonant (letters), and reading the couple consonant.
4 Long and short vowel, double voice, the fake couple voice, and reading of the fake couple.
5 Breath markers and use rules.
6 Spelling and the nouns given to spell(spelling). Allocation to spell words. Long and the short spell.
7 Tone marks and use rules.
8 Get the nouns given to the word according to the tone signal and causes.
9 Examples and basic reading, writing exercises.
10 Punctuation and sentence order.
11 Verbs: the voice in verbs, the mood in verbs, time in verbs, number in verbs, personal in verbs.
12 News mood, active voice. The first person singular of verbs ending with omega.
13 Praesens Time: affix/suffix of Praesens Time, and inflection of verbs
14 New words and Exercise I.
