Course Objective The Ottoman works of art will be examined in the spread of the region XV. the second half of the century until 1520. In addition, the Early Ottoman architecture and adornment art direction by making an overall assessment of the impact will be focused on classical Ottoman art.
Course Content The lesson covers early examples of Ottoman architecture and connections between their past and the classical period.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Will be able to get about the artistic activities of Ottoman State in the known as Ottoman Interregnum Period (1402-1413).
2Will be able to recognize the works of art in the period of Mehmed Celebi.
3Will be able to recognize Three Şerefeli Mosque in Edirne and to learn the importance of its place in Turkish art.
4Will be able to analyze the important architectural works and the historical events during the reign of Sultan Mehmed II. Will be able to evaluate the features of the plans and ornamentations on the buildings from the reign of Sultan Mehmed II at Bursa, Constantinople, Çanakkale and Edirne.
