Course Objective To analyze the period of the republic and the developments of the foundation of the Republic of Turkey
Course Content The subjects of this course are the period of National Assembly, the Turkish Independence War, the basis of foreign policy and the agreements signed in accordance with that policy, the abolition of sultanate, the declaration of republic, the organization of newly established institutions.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1To examine the establishment of the new Turkish state, and the political and military relations in this process.
2To provide to investigate the contributions of Turkish modernization to the government structure of the Republic of Turkey
3To set out the contributions of regional alliances to regional and world peace.
4To evaluate the contribution of Turkish foreign policy to the system of international peace.
5To make students analyze and make them gain use of their knowledge.
