Course Objective The aim of this course is to teach the disintegration of Ottoman Empire and the transition period from empire to nation state. .
Course Content Europe and Middle East before the First World War, the general political and economic condition of Caucasus, the reasons of First World War, agreements signed after the war, the arrival of Mustafa Kemal in Samsun as the symbolic event signalizing the beginning of National War and the period of congresses are among the subjects of this course.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1To analyze internal factors effecting the period of Ottoman Empire's corruption.
2To analyze external factors effecting the corruption of Ottoman Empire.
3To evaluate developments in Europe and world, and period of development of during the period of Ottoman Empire's corruption.
4To discuss modernization processes of Ottoman and their contributions to new regime.
5To make students analyze and make them gain use of their knowledge.
