Course Objective Students taking this course will be able to perform low and mid-level image operations including digital image enhancement, repair and compression, and in this context, they will gain C# and EmguCV supported digital image processing skills.
Course Content Fundamentals of digital image, color image models, image processing: spatial domain techniques, image processing: transformation domain techniques, sampling and quantization, image restoration: image blurring and deblurring, image/video compression, image recognition.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.

1To learn the theoretical basis of Digital Image Processing concepts.
2To acquire mathematical foundations for digital manipulation of images using C#.
3To learn image acquisition, pre-processing, segmentation, Fourier domain image processing and compression processes using C# and EmguCV.
4To gain experience and learn practical techniques for writing programs for digital manipulation of images using C# and EmguCV.
