Course Objective This course aims to teach stone fruit species, especially cherry, cherry, peach, nectarine, plum and apricot, their cultivation ecology, commercially important varieties of these species, rootstocks used in cultivation, cultivation systems and cultural practices to be applied while applying these systems.
Course Content Cultural history, systematics, ecological requirements, varieties, morphology, fertilization biology, rootstocks, physiology, cultivation techniques, nursery, grafting, tree shaping, special pruning techniques, dense planting, yield, harvesting of peach, apricot, cherry, plum and sour cherry will be explained practically.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
