Course Objective This course aims to provide students how they can benefit medically from medicinal and aromatic plant species in nature and that this learned information how it should transfer to others, it aims to teach how species in nature and of medicinal and aromatic plants in the culture of the medical could benefit.
Course Content The definition of aromatherapy, importance and history. Aromatic plants and their properties. Essential oils and obtaining methods. Massage oils and preparation. Aromatherapy methods and simple applications. special cases and matters to be considered should be known in aromatherapy treatments. The historical development of medicinal plants. Definition of Phytotherapy, medicinal plants used by locals. methods of using drugs. The active substance obtained from drugs. herbs and prescription practices used among the people. herbs and prescription practices used among the people. herbs and prescription practices used among the people. Present approach between medicine and alternative medicine.

1To understand the history of Phytotherapy.
2People use it for plants to recognize the healing.

5To understand the features and benefits of which must include the plants used in aromatherapy.
