COURSE DESCRIPTION

Course Objective The aim of this course students; ICT and agriculture in the use of the principles of understanding of related hardware and software to recognize and use, to gain experience in dealing with office applications, internet technology to effective use as agricultural information and to be visionary about agricultural clinics, farm information management, electronic commerce and electronic publishing issues ensure the acquisition of knowledge.
Course Content The historical development of information technologies, different operating systems (Linux, Windows, introduction of IT-based software for access to information, basic computer skills (word processing, spreadsheet, database management), teleconference and video conference communication, data mining and search sites related to agriculture: Virtual cafes, virtual spring, online expert systems, use in agricultural production, information technology (tillage, fertilizer use, etc.), to monitor the prices of products in the market, to obtain market intelligence, e-commerce
