COURSE DESCRIPTION

Course Objective Botanical science disciplines to teach the basic concepts and information.
Course Content Improvement in history of cell science. Developmental studies in microscope and its mechanism. Features of plant biology. Chemical and physical structures of cytoplasm. Organelles in cells, special organelles and substances of plant cells. Nucleus, organelles and molecules, genome, chromosome ve DNA concepts, cell cycle, genetical code mechanism. Cell division, mitosis and meiosis. Cell wall. Tissue, description and morphological developments. Dividing and non-dividing tissues. Structural features of tissues. Functions of tissues in high organisation plants, structures of specific cells, stroma ve higroma. Organs, their descriptions and improvements in the plant organisms. Root, leaf and flower. Their parts, features and functions. Positions of organs in high plant organisations (gymnosperm ve angiosperm).

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Student issues related to botanical science learns about the content.
2Define important concepts with examples.
3Application definitions by associating with cell organelles and examination of tissue samples under a microscope, the views and the material environment (systematic name) is familiar.
4They have gained in the field of biology in secondary education at a certain level of knowledge, skills and competencies that contains the latest information on their own field, educational materials and equipment using the more comprehensive and will have advanced knowledge and understanding.
