Course Objective The status of the seed sector in Turkey, after the necessary technological and physiological seed production and supply of knowledge and its use in the future to ensure that technical staff to gain knowledge and skills to students.
Course Content To meet humanity's seeds, agronomic and my perspektif.tohu vital historical importance, uniqueness and its own peculiarities. A glimpse into our country's vegetable seeds. Seed development. Seed quality and components. Germination and principles. Seed vigor tests. The importance of ecology in seed production. The basic principles of seed production. Methods of hybrid seed production. Seed dormancy, causes, types and methods to eliminate. Seed harvesting and extraction. Drying, fumigation and storage. Improvement of seed quality.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Student; seeds and importance of the portion of the seed chemical composition, grain quality principles, germination and basic requirements, hybrid seed production and basic principles, dormancy, seed harvesting, fermentation and storage of information on the win.
2Student; Germination tests, seed vigor tests, seedling emergence tests and testing of skills such as tetrazolium win.
