Course Objective It aims to prepare clothing patterns directly on a living or dead mannequin.
Course Content Definition of draping, to understand the place and importance of draping method in clothing, to comprehend the use of straight length yarn and diagonal line, to learn the situations that require draping, to grasp the points to be considered while draping, to learn the materials and tools used in draping work, and to prepare basic clothing patterns with the draping technique. .
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Being able to prepare basic body forms in three dimensions on an inanimate mannequin.
2Preparing skirt, blouse, dress pattern on draping mannequin
3Recognizing the size and choosing the appropriate fabric
4Ability to transfer a desired model to a two-dimensional mold after creating it on the mannequin
5Ability to prepare patterns by making necessary corrections
6Ability to work with asymmetrical models in accordance with the draping technique
