COURSE DESCRIPTION

Course Objective With this course, it is aimed to apply the ergonomics rules of the students to the product, workbenches and machines. It is aimed to create environmental conditions related to ergonomics rules.
Course Content Definition and scope; elements of ergonomics; anthropometry; sitting space anthropometry; anthropometric measurements; anthropometry in space design; anthropometry in hardware-furniture design; hardware-furniture design for special consumer groups (children, elderly, disabled); kitchen, social living areas and recreation area furniture design and anthropometric measurement relationship.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
