Course Objective Understand the developmental approach to children with disabilities.
Course Content PHYSICAL DISABLED CHILD DEVELOPMENT AND EDUCATION: CHILD DEVELOPMENT AND EDUCATION OF MENTALLY DISABLED, the education of children identified as gifted. VISUAL DEVELOPMENT AND EDUCATION OF CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES HEARING DEVELOPMENT AND EDUCATION OF CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES DEVELOPMENT AND EDUCATION OF CHILDREN WITH LANGUAGE DEVELOPMENT AND COMMUNICATION .

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Defines current information about special education, teaching profession, general culture and basic sciences.
2Knows the types of special requirements.
3Knows the games and game materials for children in need of special education and adapts the game activities in accordance with the type and degree of disability.
4Plans and implements art and creativity activities with children in need of special education.
5Knows the developmental characteristics of children with special needs (children with learning difficulties, physical disabilities and health problems, communication disabilities, emotional and behavioral disorders, autistic disorders, and gifted and gifted children).
6Knows/applies the methods and techniques used in the education of children with special needs.
7Knows/applies the principles and techniques of applied behavior analysis to eliminate inappropriate behaviors of children with special needs.
8Knows how to teach concepts and skills to children with special needs.
9Knows the teaching of self-care skills to children with special needs.
10Knows how to teach play and social skills to children with special needs.
