GASTRONOMY AND CULINARY ARTS DEPARTMENT

General Information

Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Department is a four-year undergraduate program affiliated to the Faculty of Tourism. In the Gastronomy and Culinary Arts department, there are theoretical and applied courses in the field. Mandatory summer internship is 60 days. Gastronomy includes culture, nutrition, food, economy, business and many disciplines. A total of 240 ECTS in eight semesters are required for graduation.


Objective

Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Department trains well-equipped staff in the fields of food, nutrition and culinary arts for the sector. Gastronomy and Culinary Arts graduates work as managers in food and beverage businesses and in the food and beverage departments of hotels. In addition, since they are equipped in the kitchen and restaurant area, they can easily work as an organizer in all positions in the food and beverage sector.
