Electronics and Computer Department was founded in 1992. There are two undergraduate programs which is Electronics Education and computer systems education. Electronics Education and Computer Systems Education divisions were beginning in 2000 and 2003 undergraduate education respectively. Due to the closure of Faculty of Technical Education, new students aren't accepted to the programme starting from 2010-2011 academic year.

The aim in Electronics and Computer Education undergraduate program is to provide graduates with sufficient skills and habits to teach in technical and vocational schools. Besides the students are aimed to educate as qualified technical staff for research, design and production of various sectors.
